Joep Otten
My name is Joep Otten and I live in Oudenbosch, a small town in the Netherlands. I am studying Software Development at Da Vinci College. I am very interested in technology, particularly C# and game development. During my studies, I like to seek out challenges, as I want to continue developing myself.
In my spare time, I spend a lot of time gaming. Recently, I have also started creating Minecraft maps, which involves working with code on a regular basis. What I particularly enjoy about this is when I have to search hard for problems and then manage to solve them. I also like going to festivals; I am a fan of hardstyle (maybe not everyone's favorite ;) ) and I also listen to a lot of EDM.
Since September, I have been doing an internship at 2-Controlware. As part of my internship, I am working on the further development of the Authorization Box, gaining programming experience in C# and learning how software development works in a professional environment.
With this experience, I hope to prepare myself for a career in the software world, but first I want to bring this internship to a successful end!
