New partnership between Aareon and 2-Controlware for Authorization Management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM

Aareon and 2-Controlware have partnered to provide Authorization Monitoring within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM). Through this partnership, housing associations using Tobias 365 and commercial real estate organizations using REMS 365 will gain access to a solution that provides insight into authorizations, identifies risks related to segregation of duties and helps address audit and compliance challenges.

Organizations gain greater control over user permissions and security settings within Dynamics 365 F&SCM, enabling them to mitigate risks and be better prepared for internal and external audits.

Are you in control of your authorizations in Dynamics 365 F&SCM?

For many organizations, authorization management is a topic that receives attention primarily when auditors ask questions or when risks related to segregation of duties come to light. In practice, an authorization model often evolves alongside the organization. New employees, changed roles, additional processes, and exceptions make it increasingly difficult to maintain an overview of who has access to which data and functionalities.

That is precisely why Aareon and 2-Controlware have opted for this partnership. By combining Aareon’s industry-specific knowledge with 2-Controlware’s expertise in authorization management and compliance, customers gain access to tools that enable them to analyze, monitor, and improve their authorization structure.

Authorization Monitoring as the Foundation for Compliance and Control

At the heart of the partnership is Authorization Monitoring, 2-Controlware’s self-audit tool for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM. The software analyzes user rights, security roles, duties and privileges, providing insight into the rights users actually hold. In addition, Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts are automatically detected, enabling organizations to identify and manage these SoD risks early.

Beyond insight, Authorization Monitoring also supports compliance and audit processes. Findings can be assessed, risks can be documented and organizations can build audit-ready evidence for internal controls and external auditors. This makes authorization management not only more transparent but also more manageable.

For housing associations using Tobias 365 and commercial real estate organizations using REMS 365, this means greater control over authorizations, less manual verification work, and better preparation for audits. Organizations gain faster insight into potential risks and can make informed decisions regarding access rights and segregation of duties.
